Overview and Responsibilities

The Leadership Development Program Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the leadership and professional development program at Republic Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience in a Training/Talent Development role. The salary range is $45,000 - $50,000 depending on experinece. Job Responsibilities are as follows:


  • Oversee the creation of a talent pipeline that are prepared to take on a business leadership role.
  • Design, develop and deliver management and leadership training designed to build effective management/leadership skills. 
  • Work with management, executive leadership, and other department representatives to assess future talent needs and build bench strength. 
  • Ensure training program goals align with desired business results and impact key business indicators.
  • Research and recommend vendors, technologies, and materials that would benefit program development. 
  • Measure the effectiveness of training to ensure a return on investment.
  • Track program development life cycles; ensure that any problems are addressed, escalated when needed, and resolved quickly.
  • Perform scheduled or ad hoc updates to course documentation to ensure timeliness and relevance.
  • Manage multiple program development projects simultaneously by prioritizing project deadlines. 
  • Make any necessary adjustments to training methodology and/or re-trains as appropriate.
  • Attend and participates in meeting, projects and teams as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in a Training/Talent Development role.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to plan, develop, and implement training via instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning formats.
  • Must have strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and demands from the organization.
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills. 
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools is a plus; preferably Articulate.
  • Strong writing and editing skills. 
  • A good understanding of the learning and development industry.
  • Ability to travel to other locations to support training needs at multiple locations when required.
  • Professional appearance, dress, and presentation.
