Overview and Responsibilities

The Senior Web Application Developer will create, manage, and support a team to develop a fully online loan application system for a growing consumer finance company with 180+ offices across 8 states.  A key initiative will be to develop a mobile application for like functions for online loan application system. Job responsibilities are as follows:


  • Manage and write c# webpage frontend for online channel and internal Republic intranet functions 
  • Hire and manage at least 2 other developers and/or use 3rd parties to outsource work
  • Work directly with other key Republic Finance departments and managers to implement required interface designs
  • Develop system or systems to integrate with 3rd party APIs
  • Integrate with SQL cloud based backend
  • Work directly with database administrators and other departments
  • Attend meetings and scope out new projects as needed and implement them
  • Working and building with large datasets on webpages
  • Work on projects on an as needed basis
  • Test developed system alongside other key departments
  • Support system on on going basis as system is scaled up


  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and 10+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job as listed above
  • Must be able to write HTML, C#
  • Have experience with REST/SOAP API’s
  • Have experience with developing, designing and supporting systems.
  • Mobile application development
  • Some Relational database knowledge and experience required / Microsoft SQL experience


Desired Experience


  • Financial/Lending background
  • HTML 5
  • SQL experience/Visual Studio Experience
  • API integration with 3rd parties or creating our own for use with other 3rd parties
  • Mobile app development (IOS/Android)
