  • Overview and Responsibilities

    We are seeking a VP of Sales to implement and oversee sales training in our Operations division for consumer lending and ancillary products. This will be a key role in the organization in meeting our current and future revenue goals. We are currently in 8 states with 200+ branch locations with plans to double in size over the next 5 years and become a lender on the national stage. This person will create an ongoing sales training program and will be reponsbile for the rollout of PeopleReader. The VP of Sales will report directly to the EVP of Operations. 


    • Oversee all sales training and coaching for the key operations of the business including pre-call planning, process accountability, pipeline management, activity management, sales techniques, and career development.
    • Responsible for rollout of PeopleReader program and work closely with them to continue to implement the best strategies for Republic Finance.
    • Responsible for organic growth of existing clients through renewals, new product introduction, and training to increase sales success of existing products
    • Consultant that shaped all support departments to manage sales volume increase while maintaining customer satisfaction to prepare company for new industry growth
    • Responsible for providing training and sales coaching to field sales team in consumer lending as well as ancillary products.
    • Increase the overall customer experience by developing stronger sales competencies for operations employees
    • Coach team members on how to deliver proper sales practices with core sales approach to meet customer’s needs through increased effort and execution of pipeline management


    • 15+ years of proven success in a sales management role within the financial services industry responsible for organization wide sales training and performance.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
    • Excellent knowledge of consumer lending operations, customer service and sales
    • Proven leadership and organizational skills, including effective time management
    • Previous experience implementing PeopleReader or similar tool
    • Ability to be influential, collaborate, and establish positive working relationships across the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to establish and achieve strategic goals
    • Effective communication (both verbal and written), negotiating, and presentation skills
    • Strong change management leadership skills and ability to work in an ever-changing pace
    • Ability to readily identify needs and requirements, and establish plans and processes to ensure successful results
