  • Overview and Responsibilities

    The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Management Training Team for Republic Finance. The management training team coordinates assignments for our 300+ Assistant Manager group across the company.  The Administrative Assistant will make travel arrangements, manage document follow up and spreadsheets, and provide supportive assistance in other roles through the training department. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and organized with a particular interest in training and development. Job responsibilities are as follows:

    • Maintain, schedule and coordinate travel itineraries and related plans.
    • Distribute, maintain and follow-up on required documentation for AM group.
    • Coordinate and schedule conference calls, meetings, and events for training courses and workshops.
    • Communicate with upper level management regarding arrangement of Assistant Manager Development opportunities.
    • Perform basic tasks like answering phones and checking voicemail, as well as monitoring emails.
    • Apply broad knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures in accordance with their day-to-day tasks.
    • Generate memos, emails, and reports when appropriate.
    • Participate in hosting of classroom trainings and GoToMeetings, and assist in creating training material.
    • Crosstrain on administrative functions of Learning Management System.
    • Other duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications

    • Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks with high degree of attention to detail.
    • Ability to set priorities and adapt quickly to changes.
    • Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Organization, planning and administrative skills.
    • Ability to get along with others, work well in teams and relate to people.
    • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Takes initiative to expand skills and assume new responsibilities.
    • Stress tolerant and have a constructive approach to interpersonal conflict.
    • Communicate well with all levels of management and work successfully with a wide variety of individuals.
    • Some travel may be required.
